Yokozuna Asashoryu (retired 2010) and sekiwake Tochinonada (retired 2012)
are currently tied for 64th on the overall career wins chart with 669.
Longevity legend Hanakaze, who has never risen above sandanme 18,
is in the next position with 664...so he could pass them in a basho or
two...or three.
They may all be passed by Tamawashi, who has 662 wins and will be an
upper maegashira in January.
Of course,Hanakaze has 758 LOSSES,Asashoryu only 173,and when it comes
to MAKUUCHI wins Asashoryu has 596,Tochinonada 556,Tamawashi 479,
and Hanakaze has spent decades maintaining a perfect 0.

The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,
at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.
