  • Oldest Ever Top Goal Scorer In The Big Four?

    Who is the oldest ever (final) top goal acorer in any of the Big Four?

    Big four = {England, Germany, Spain, Italy}

    I'm guessing Zlatan Ibrahimovic would top that if he can continue like
    this.

    In any European league. It seems that Frode Johnsen holds the record at the moment, at more or less the same age (39).
    It's not even that easy to find any goal scorers in the Big Four older than Zlatan.
    Pizarro, Votava, Burgsm|+ller, Olsen in Germany
    Di St|-fano, Messi's predecessor C|-sar Rodr|!guez and Deportivo's Donato in Spain
    Italy (Piola, Sensini, Maldini, Totti, lately Pellissier, record holder: Costacurta at 41) and Olde Englande have more. Stanley Matthews and Billy Meredith both scored their last top flight goals at the age of 49.

    I first thought of Dario Hubner, top scorer in Serie A in 2001-2002 at the age of 35. That record was broken in 2015 by Luca Toni, at the age of 38.

    Muller and Kirsten both did it at 32 plus in the BL. Muller slighlty
    older based on birth date.

    And Quagliarella did it at 36 two years ago and is still going strong
    this year.

    Just looked up Lewa, technically at 31 (turned 32 21 Aug, right before
    the CL Final)

    Marin Max has the BL record at 33. Zlatan himself has the record in France.
