All matches played simultaneously, should be fun.

All matches still 0-0, with the exception of Georgia-Belarus (1-0 to the home side)

I'm glancing at Scotland-Israel. Israel had a good spell at the beginning, but it's been mostly Scotland in the past few minutes.

I'm concentrating on Iceland-Romania because it has a direct impact on Austria's Euro group.

Gylfi has just given Iceland the lead with a Gylfi goal.

I hope Hungary make it. They are the real victims of Salzburg being (slightly) hit by COVID (which they might or might not have contracted in the CL qualifiers against Maccabi Tel Aviv), because Szoboszlai had to pull out of their squad.

Norway is very lucky to have 0:0 at HT, Mitrovic had a sitter,
crazy what he missed, Serbia also had a couple of good chances
    in the first 15 minutes.
Haaland barely visible, had a header from the corner, cleared
    on the line by Maksimovic.
Had more expectations from this match, too many passing errors,
    tempo isn't really high.

SMS and Jovic on the bench just shows how hard is to predict anything
    with Serbia.

Irresistible force/unmovable object? Those were some unexpectedly good penalties by Scotland though (except the first that squirmed under Marciano...)

Scotland is the source of the changeover to 24 teams in Euro to
fave more chance to qualify (and then for 2012, they were the
FIRST team eliminated, before Malta, Faroe or Andorra).

Will they success do qualify this time ? The suspense is

Yup, we see that with Alphonso too. Though third tier might be
generous. Come to think of it, it is pretty generous to Scotland as
well. The current team is pretty limited, and when you take out players
like Tierney, Armstrong, and others due to COVID, then get Cooper and

    HT: 0-1
After a nervy start, Hungary has definitely improved and created a number of half chances, but also leaving some room at the back for Icelandic breaks. Quite entertaining so far.

Scotland took Christie off before the equaliser and have produced nothing in extra time. But now Griffiths comes on - can he change things? 119 minutes.
Penalties it is. Usually you don't win two shoot-outs in a row?

Hungary are at home to Portugal and France - could an upset be on the cards? Scotland get home games with Czech Republic and Croatia and are away to England. If they finish third conceivably they could be at home again in the round of 16 against the winner of Group E (SpainrCOs group). Exciting times.

I had no way of watching this here, but was keeping track on the
computer. When Serbia equalized I was pretty sure that Scotland had, in time-honored fashion, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet
again. But this very limited side has shown some resilience (and oodles
of luck) under Clark, so they move on to a major finals for the first
time since 1998. There is very little talent in this side, and I would
argue that not even Robertson, for all his positive impact with
Liverpool, would have got into the starting lineup in 1982 or 1986, for example. Certainly not 1974. Well, good luck to them. A few points in
the next two away games vs. Slovakia and Israel and they may even win
their group in the European Nations League as well. I believe that
earns them a shot at a playoff for the WC qualifiers, if they don't earn
a spot in some other way ?

The U21 side has been doing quite well and may yet qualify for the finals.

Real Mardin, so how do the actual 24 teams in the Euros compare to the
voting competition you ran in summer? I think Norway qualified for that
in spite of my votes to the contrary.

We voted to determine which four teams would make it through the playoffs.

We predicted these teams would qualify:

    Norway
    Romania
    Republic of Ireland
    Georgia

    Whereas the actual qualifiers were:

    Scotland
    Hungary
    Slovakia
    North Macedonia

After they beat Norway one of the Vucic's tabloids (Kurir) was screaming

Is a part of you not just a little bit sad that we won't get to see a Croatia v Serbia derby at the Euros?

In short, I want focus to be on football and not politics. And you have
    to see
how cocky they can get, like they are Brazil or some other top team, not someone
who didn't qualify for EURO in 20 (at least 24 now) years.

I absolutely hate politics and what it has done to the region not that
    long ago,
our politicians are scum and their are much worse, I'm pretty sure there
    is some
deal between them to fire up the masses whenever there are some
    elections, then
they start talking about neighbors. And for many people the wounds are
    still fresh
and there are many unresolved issues between 2 countries. Just few weeks
    ago,
25 years after the war, some Serbs were arrested for war crimes.

We are now spared of all that and even if England beats us, I won't care :)

There are other opinions of course, I've noticed many comments from my
    country that
they wanted Serbia to show them once again who is the boss in the region,
but there is a lot of uncertainty about this EURO because of Covid, we
    are in a process
of generation change, you are from Turkey and you could have seen 3 days
    ago our defense
is not the best at the moment, group is already tricky and having a
    derby in the last
round which could determine who goes in the knockout phase would just
    made it unnecessarily
    more complicated.

Losing to Scotland in potentially deciding match wouldn't hurt at all,
    let them

    against Serbia :)

They're one of the very few teams you've never won against! (three draws, two defeats)

We never beat any South American team on the World Cup before, not even
    a draw and
    then Argentina came :)

Those 2 defeats against Scotland were when Igor Stimac was a manager https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igor_%C5%A0timac#Croatia_national_team

A guy whose previous job was a TV commentator, never managed any team
    outside domestic league,
a guy involved in shady businesses with some criminals including Zdravko
    Mamic who
appointed him as a national team manager. Then he got rid of him after
    2nd defeat against Scotland.

Contrary to his managerial abilities, Stimac had some cocky statements
    before those matches
with Scotland and then Scots shut him up and sacked him, there are so
many reasons to love Scotland :)
