Yeah, short break. I have to assume tv viewership numbers are up, but are advertisers buying time, what with people unable to buy stuff. Beer adverts would be working, but cant imagine Etihad and airlines really wanting to spend money on advertising. I suppose people are travelling, apparently a whole bunch of people in St. Barts.
I dunno, I get the feeling football will be pausing again in the next month. OK, so as everyone knows, 2020 sucked, but think of all the innovations and the positive things, like all those rescue dogs being adopted, hockey sticks with microphones taped to them, tofu rouladen and other new recipes, not just day drinking, but morning drinking, remote conferencing, re discovering shoulder length hair (I have not had a haircut since March), less pollution, summer ice hockey, winter mojitos, cannabis gardening and designer masks... ok,ok, nothing really good came out of 2020.

Match of the day coming up.

Upstarts from Stuttgart taking on old 1st div stalwarts from Leipzig.

As for Schalke, all I can say is Bring in Felix.
Felix is busy getting both W|+rzburg and Admira relegated.

    Ciao,
    Werner

    I'll stick with that.

    You are predicting 0-3 ? OK !

Luckily the gamemaster knows I was predicting a Mainz loss.

    Predictable late scores:
    Hertha - Schalke 3-0
    Stuttgart - Leipzig 0-1

One would hope 2021 would bring change and good news and relief from all the pain and suffering of 2020, but no.
Schalke still losing, Pretenders still pretending, Grinders still grinding out wins and I can only assume bayern will keep winning. The only good news is Davies is starting.

Maybe some good news after all? Mainz leading 2-0 at the half. Boateng will feel aggrieved, he was body checked down on the first goal and then his body check was called and Mainz scored from the free kick.
