I have not eaten inside a restaurant in 9 months, yet I get take out all the time, well, except when I am up here at the cottage where the closest restaurant is about 20+ km. I may eat inside at the ski hill for the first time in months, when I go, got my season pass and ready, but the weather is not abiding. They actually opened yesterday, which is bad timing as we went from 15C last week to 15+cm and below 0C temps early this week, but back now to rain and 10C and slush and mush.
I actually may put the lil 15 HP boat back in the water today. I know I heard a boat out on the lake yesterday.
German Donner takeouts are becoming a thing here, we went from none to three or four in a year, not that I consider take out restaurants real restaurants. Does anyone consider, Burger King or Pizza Hut a real restaurant? If you dont need to get out of your car to get food, not a restaurant, if you do not sell booze, not a restaurant, if you have to get your own food, not a restaurant. Buffet is not a restaurant! if you do not have a 1907 Chateau Lafite on the wine menu, not a real restaurant. Hopefully Covid kills buffet restaurants, hate those places.
