This week is all about summer returning, been a miserable last couple of months weather wise. I just came back from being out on the water, two days ago when I got up here it was -8c and snow on the ground, gonna be 18c for the next week, maybe global warming has shortened our Winter, felt like Spring today.
somehow Werder keeps winning, long may that continue.

El Zuper Klassiker, I thought we just had one already? I have no concept of time anymore. I want to call BVB the new Pretenders, this game will tell us if they are real pretenders or a pretend real team. I will give them one more chance.

Hoff won 5-0 today, actually a good week for Bundesliga clubs in Europe, mostly easy games though, except for Red Bull.

So Zuper Zaturday today, the problem is Bayern look un-stoppable and BVB look like a team of children, so I am hopeful that the kids are alright, but I dont think they will pull it off, I would be happy if the kids could pull off a draw. Bayern can be beaten with quick attackers, playing basic, route one football...I think? I would just kick the ball at Boteng and hope for the best.
The opener is the keller duel, Schalke with a full two point lead over Mainz going into the match, both teams are going down like a cement filled Lead Zeppelin

The robots give Mainz a penalty in the first few minutes, which is converted. The 3 points leap frog Mainz over Schalke in 17th place.
These teams concede a lot of goals but do not score many, so we will see what happens.

Mark Uth (no relation to Robert Huth) ties the game at 1-1 with a Messiesque free kick, sort of making up for a bad miss earlier. I would say Schalke are the better of these two bad teams, but they look so comical in front of goal, that they may still lose this game.

Giving up two penals per half is also a problem for schalke, one at the start one at the end, it just does not look good for them, even if they were playing the better football (granted, it is vs Mainz). Both teams look legit relegation teams. Mainz had a good chance to make it 3-1 at the end of the half. Unionists looking to play UCL next season.
