• [R implied] Since someone mentioned it, WCQ's beginning to ramp up...

There are no confirmed qualifiers yet.
    UEFA:
Belgium IS probably the closest, as discussed in another thread. They would need to lose out and have Wales win out -- of course, that would be only one uncharacteristic loss by Belgium, Belgium and Wales do play.
Denmark is pretty much in the same boat -- needs only about 1-2 more points and they can book their tickets to the Middle East.
Germany beats North Macedonia on Monday, and they're in, and the first team to qualify. (Denmark has a shot at qualification Tuesday.)
    COMNEBOL:
Brazil is a fair piece further away than some of the European teams, but a nine-team single group (and still not knowing what the Hell is going to happen with that debacle against Argentina!!) keeps them from being any better on this list.
CONCACAF: Barely halfway through the first iteration of the Octagonal. (Don't sleep on Canada here -- they already have draws with both the USA and Mexico away!)
CAF: Long way to go there too. Only halfway through ten four-team groups, and the winners of those groups only advance to two-legged playoffs within the continent to determine the five spots.
AFC: About where CONCACAF is -- little more than halfway through the first iteration, though it does look like the only spots in real question are the two teams to finish third in each group, who will face each other for Asia's interconfederation playoff spot.
OFC: Their only path is through that same interconfederational -- they have no spot to give uniquely. And it now appears no tournament will be held at all, unless Qatar can host it in March of 2022!

France is in if they win over kazakhstan at home next month
(unless Bosnia won all its four remaining games but I do not
think so, we will see first next wednersday).
