Well, you have Petr Cech defending the Czech goal for several years. But has there ever been a Roma/Romano/Romani who played for Roma? A Milanese that played for Milan? A Bergamaschi/Bergamasco for Atalanta?

Well, Flavio Roma made a name for himself at Monaco, but his youth club was Lazio. Omar Milanetto only got as close as Monza, but Mauro Milanese played two seasons for Inter... And Nando De Napoli won scudetto and UEFA Cup with Napoli, often alongside Francesco Romano...
For some reason it's been only now that I've realised that Leipzig manager Domenico Tedesco
was born in Italy while Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano was born in Germany.
    Ciao,

Also, I had missed the fact that England U-21 goalkeeper Etienne Green was playing for Saint-|etienne (les Verts).

When I saw, by chance, their line-up for a game, I thought: surely they jest...
It's like the guy was born to play for them.
    Tchau!
