  • Harry Kane's penalty against Germany

    Why is there virtually zero discussion/debate anywhere online about Kane's penalty against Germany in the Nations League match? It was clearly not a penalty, and not only was it given, it was given AFTER A VIDEO REVIEW BY THE REFEREE. Which video was he reviewing?
    Is it simply that nobody cares cause it's just the Nations League?

    Sounds like the one where the English player got clipped in the legs. That's about the only penalty he could give. But then I have to ask: Was the German then sent off for DOGSO?

    Seemed very strange to me. It looked as though they both tripped over
    their own feet to me. But maybe the VAR saw something different or had
    a better angle, and there was slight contact somewhere.

    Certainly my initial impression was that it was nothing, and the replays
    I saw did nothing to change that.

    I had the game on and couldnrCOt even be bothered to watch the replay because itrCOs only the Nations League.
