The top European leagues are as predictable as ever: as I predicted at the beginning of the season the champions in Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France and Portugal will be Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen, Inter, Ajax, PSG and Porto.

It could be different in South America though. Cobresal and Nublense are both in the top 4 in Chile; Resistencia are 3rd in Paraguay; are they newly promoted? I'm pretty sure I'd never heard of them before this season. Deportivo Maldonado, Wanderers, and Boston River are all in about the top 5 in Uruguay, with only Nacional of the big clubs showing any sign so far of emerging from mid-table mediocrity.--- SBBSecho 3.06-Win32
It's a bit early to say in Argentina or Brazil, but Cuiaba are currently 4th in the Brazilian League, and Fortaleza ended 4th last season; and Defensa y Justicia and Talleres ended 2nd and 3rd in Argentina last season.
