Tchau!
...than international African football? Were you watching with the sound down? I watched most of this year's AFCON and came away thinking that the jazzy mixture of trumpets and vuvuzelas created such a vibrant atmosphere to be worth the price of admission alone. Matches were fiercely contested, with penalty shootouts which delivered more drama than most UEFA ones I recall and even the odd refereeing controversy. What's not to like?

Croquet meets janitorial services. Not sure if this should be classified as a sport, a vocation, or a mental illness.Maybe golf, and auto racing, but that's about it.Curling
Cricket, American football
Both can be quite exciting (excluding "Test" cricket, which can be auto racing level mind-numbing).
Flashy? It is super dull..., just a bunch a 8 footers dunking balls... I will never get American sports like American football, baseball and basketballBasketball
Agree. A flashy sport that wears thin on entertainment value, over time.

Cricket and basketball (and I dont understand Cricket) seems to be games where the norm is to score every time, the "excitement " happens when you dont score.Cricket, American football
Both can be quite exciting (excluding "Test" cricket, which can be auto racing level mind-numbing).Cricket can be exciting but a lot of ODI matches are over three quarters into the matches.
