Probably was started elsewhere, but there ya go.
The 4-0 win for Canada over Jamaica finally takes care of it. Canada is the 20th of 32 nations to qualify for Qatar 2022.
Costa Rica gets a vital 3 points at El Salvador 2-1, as it awaits the USA match on Wednesday. Three first-half goals, a Joel Campbell stoppage-time goal the winner. So no matter what happens today, USA nor MEX can clinch qualification today. There can be ridiculous goal-differential issues coming up, but nothing can be clinched today.
    HON 0-0 MEX 19'
    USA 3-0 PAN 27'
Gee, every time I put this match up, USA scores again. Three goals in 10 minutes, starting with a penalty, then Arriola, then Ferriera.

USA putting up big numbers means that Costa Rica would have to beat them by 5 or 6 in the final match day to pip them to one of the top 3 spots (5 if the score stays as it is). If Mexico doesn't take care of business against Honduras, then it could get nervy for them.
In the end, it's likely that Rockingest Confederation (tm) will have a pretty boring final matchday, where everything is decided already.

Yeah, Panama getting dispatched would settle the four teams involved. Depends on what happens in that Mexico match -- they are literally limping in (0-0 34').
    USA still 3-0 PAN 43'

And now make it 4-0 -- a second penalty converted by Pulisic.

Second penalty was good -- the person committing it is actually lucky he's still in the match. Contact to the face and head can be a sending off.

First one was good too -- and Panama is lucky they don't have NINE right now, unless that was the same guy. You can't contact that high and not risk getting penalties or getting sent off!!!

    USA wins 5-1.

MEX gets the three points over Honduras.

So Canada has qualified, the four countries who will play on have been determined (CAN, USA, MEX, CRC).

CRC will have to beat the USA by six.
