UEFA are holding off on the final stage of qualifying for Qatar (is that still happening?) I think doing the final ko or round robin in April. AFC qualifying going on right now, I think 6 teams qualify, 4 directly than a playoff to play in an intercontinental play off Korea, Iran should be top two in GRP A. GRP B is a three way battle between Japan Australia and Saudi, but come on even the name is boring AFC? CONCACAF that is a proper name for a qualifying group, kinda rocks actually, just say it... CONCACAF.
USA and Canada seem to be using the old play in cold weather tactics, games in Minnesota, Hamilton suggest very cold temps, we just had our cold snap end as of today. Davies is being held back by Bayern from playing in this round, which will be a big miss. three out of Panama, Kanada, USA and Mexico will qualify directly and I think the 4th goes to play the intercontinental play off.
CONMEBOL, does not rock anywhere near as much as CONCACAF, you really cant even say CONMEBOL, kind like the sound you make when you smell rotting fish and feel like you have to puke. Brasil already through, Argentina will be soon and Ecuador look likely to join them, then you have Colombia in the 4th spot and a bunch of teams playing for the 5th spot which plays in the intercontinental qualifying games-however that works. I think AFC play CONMEBOL and CONCACAF play OFC, which means Kanada can end 4th and still qualify if true. OK, maybe New Zealand would be a tough game.
I think most countries will play thrice during this break, while European players get to holiday during this time and African are playing in the AFCON.

A tricky one to negotiate for Mexico. Lose this and they will come in
for a lot of flack, but getting more than a point in the heat, on a
bumpy pitch in Kingston is always a challenged. Plus Jamaica have some
good players if they can get them all there and organized.

We will be very lucky to get a draw down there. A win would be a
surprise and a huge bonus. I suspect Herdman might hold back some key players for the USA game in Hamilton on Sunday. No idea what sort of
shape the MLS players will be in (Kaye, Osorio, Kamal Miller in
particular). At least Buchanan and Laryea have moved to Europe and are presumably fit. Eustaquio is a question mark, but in the squad. He just
moved to Porto, btw. He is one I think Herdman will save for Sunday,
if he can play at all.

    9:05pm Costa Rica vs Panama

Toss-up. To ease the pressure on Canada, I am kind of hoping for a draw
    or Costa Rica win.

We aren't holding him back... Covid is. He has a heart situation

Still have to get it done. I don't like Pepi going straight to
Augburg's pros right away. He's not getting time. When Davies came
