All that talk of no snow and warm temps this winter are gone now, it was -32 this morning, so even colder than the coldest day of all time last week. The good news is that Covid is over, we return to half normal at the end of the month and then full present day normal on Feb 21 or some such date. Prolly like the other normal we had back in the fall, with partial mask wearing and not licking too many door handles but passing Duchies in a resposible way, Geez, I think we have around 100 n95 masks that need to be used up before this covid thing is finally and once and for all finished by March 21.
I assume that the 2 Bundesliga does not have spectators, not sure what the Hamburgos are doing as far as limited spectators or no spectators in stadiums. Maybe we should have all followed the English and American model and not done anything and just have health workers carry the responsibility of keeping old people alive and deciding who is getting surgery and what not, I am actually all for decreasing the population, I just really feel for the people working in Hospitals, they are getting overrun terribly for the past two years and it was always hard work to begin with and even a place like Canada does not value them, so yeah, I think it is terrible how the USA and English govs and population in general, dont give a shit about them, the two worst countries in the world as far as caring for there fellow man.
Week 20 in the 2nd div and Liga leaders St Pauli, travel to the wrong side of town to face 5th place Hamburg SV, all of that just sounds so wrong, but it can be right. Werder is one point ahead of HSV in 4th and play Paderborn, two points behind them.
Let me make this bold prediction:
If St Pauli win today, they will get promoted next year.

Of course St Pauli is gonna win, they got the late great Guido Burgstaller. Another game going on as well, between teams that have also played each other in the 1st div. I dont know if it is the severe cold, but my stream keeps freezing, probably too cold for streaming streams.
Seems like 2000 spectators in Hamburg and less in Dusseldorf, HSV with a couple of good chances at the end of the half
    HSV 0 - 1 STP
    F95 0 - 1 FCN

Illegal streaming of 2nd division games just does not have the quality of 1st div games. HSV won yesterday and moved to third, with STP still on top until today, where Darmstadt won and took top spot. The Werder vs Paderborn game had everything, it was a 6 pointer roller-coaster ride with Paderborn leading 1-0, leading 2-1, leading 3-1, leading 4-3, then Werder leading 4-3 then 3-3 with minutes left, then Schmidt replacing Schmid, finally ending 4-3 for Werder and knocking HSV from third spot
