I like to think that it was cancelled due to an outbreak of the Covid
and that our poor health workers are being run ragged and they decided
to do the safe thing. A bit surprising is that they even have the Covid
in Alberta, after the Premier had said it was over before the Calgary >Stampeded started in the summer (he later apologized for the oversight), >maybe not so surprising if you consider there is a good chance your

Yes that is Alberta, famous for Fubar and Binder Dundat and Fracking. I
have seen people Fracking each other in broad daylight in Alberta,
totally Fracked up that province.
The Limeys are taking a totally different approach, nothing closing and
not giving a shit about the health system and its workers The Limeys
really dont give a shit about their population, which explains why over
half of them live in squalor and 80 percent cant read or write, copying
the USA blueprint in that respect and in some ways, it is kinda working.
Keep em dumb and they wont revolt, I believe that is the motto of
England?
So anyway, I cant help but wonder what will happen in Cameroon in a few
weeks (think the AFCON is in Cameroon?) if the toughest sporting
athletes and young and strong at that are catching the covid at a high
rate, puny little footballers have to be more susceptible. Are they
gonna check, are they gonna report cases or is the Omniron so weak and
barely a virus that no one will care?
Here in Quebec, we are "allowing" nurses with the Omniron to continue >working, due to shortages in health care workers, which really seems
like a slap in the face to them in my opinion. Maybe we just should be
saying frack it and not doing anything and let the virus set in and
hopefully develop and mutate and kill off the human population.

OK, so yesterday the Quebec Premier announced, he has put the province in curfew (10pm-5am), no gatherings, no bars nor restaurants open(takeout only) and a whole bunch of other stuff, as of today, New Years eve. So if you planned a New Years party at your cottage last week, lets say or you had planned a new years dinner or show, not gonna happen. Well you could have the party at your chalet in Quebec, but if you get caught you would get fined somewhere around $6000, I think per person? Now I am guessing a lot of Quebecers may go across the border into Ontario tonight to celebrate New Years, it crossed our minds for about a minute to go back home to Ontario and have a party there tonight, but we got so much fondue stuff to carry with us, it would just be too dangerous.
To be honest, I am not complaining, I totally get the health care system here is stretched, really dont mind the closing of Sunday shopping (another thing they did in Quebec as of today) which seems to bother a lot of people, I think it is all the other stuff which will upset the masses in the long run, can see protests in Montreal happening soon. But meanwhile, Frackin Limeys got fireworks and concerts and doorhandle licking events and all sorts of other stuff happening tonight and I think their numbers are much worse than ours?
