    There are bad refereeing decisions all the time. But once in a while you see one so shocking that it seems to eliminate any possibility of a genuine mistake, and points to clear corruption.

    Last night was one such incident. A penalty award that led to Ghana beating South Africa 1-0. The shocking incident was at 38 seconds in this clip:

    That did not look like a corner at all in the play leading up to the
    penalty award. As for the pen, it looked like a blatant dive from the
    one angle shown. But maybe the ref saw something that was hidden by the
    body of the ghanan player (Amartey ?)
