Seemingly every race a similar story. Does HAM need a new strategist or
what ? Surely the softs would have been a master-stroke ....

.... and the hards at that point a 'death warrant'. Well, at least in
    regards of improving his position.

I don't know about master stroke but it did seem a much better choice
    than doing nothing.
His head is in the wrong place. He shouldn't just be thinking about his teammate when there was a bigger picture.

I'll guess we'll never know who made the decision. But he has been given
crap strategies this year so far, and much of last year. Strategies so
flawed that common-or-garden spectators were probably yelling at their TVs.

I was. And MasterBaker would have been rubbing his hands with glee.

    Just once will do.

We do know who made the decision, Lewis did. He was offered a stop,
and he turned it down. TBH, he was offered the stop too late, so the
team was a bit dumb, but at least they were smart enough to agree
to George's master plan, and then execute it correctly.

    Both made their own bed.

Sure, figuratively, any time that HAM comes off worse that anybody else.
Make that 'every time'. Especially a team-mate. We can all see you
jizzing in you pants. Texarse really gets a thrill out of that.
