• Overtaking - Bahrain 2022

    Did I imagine it, or was there more overtaking done in this race than
    the whole of the 2021 season ?!!!

    The new aero rules clearly make it easier to follow closely without destroying the front tires. Will be interesting to see if that holds true at a tight street circuit.

    Also on tracks with some up-and-down.

    In general flat-as-a pancake tracks leave me somewhat cold.

    There were about 600 overtakes in 2021, so it was probably your imagination.

    The total yesterday was actually 58, which is, I think, more than
    any single GP last year (Brazil 56?).
