    Is this just pandemic hangover? Or is there some sponsor-driven deadline they are focusing on?

    I think it's most probably the latter. They've really pressed hard on
    the ORACLE thing.

So the real question is how much downforce in the corners/curves has actually been lost and can a car trying to overtake stay closer longer without obliterating their front tires.
