    Interesting "spin" (did I use those correctly...)

    Lando says it shows his faith in McLaren. I always thought it was the constructors who needed faith in their driver's abilities.

    That's interesting. Maybe MCL is trying to do a Verstappen and have
    consistency throughout development by committing to a single driver.

    To me it says that the 'higher-ranked teams' already have their number-one drivers locked in for
    the foreseeable future. The best thing Lando could do was to show commitment to McLaren and hope
    that, together they can return to the front.
