    Hey folks,

    I'm bailing out of SportNet.

Truth be told I'm not a huge sports fan anyway, but I brought this back to life as there was some requests by some users who used to be in the net before the previous ZC went AWOL.

If anybody wants to run the net, reach out and I'll help you get started - otherwise I'll disabled the addresses from the hub on the weekend and we'll put it to bed.

I think there are too many FTNs, and almost everybody are in the others anyway. So if sports discussion, info, feeds are wanted, I reckon we should focus on consolidating down to a handful of existing FTNs vs having one that is focused on it specifically with very few users.

Yell out before the weekend if you want to take this over (its probably good for learning about FTNs anyway!)

Thanks for trying to keep it alive for a while. I agree, the traffic doesn't justify it's existance any more. I'm gonna be removing a few other dead Nets from my board this weekend also. Cheers and take care.
