• Interesting selection choices for Australia

Pucovski has moved up to open and started with 2 double centuries, he'd have played in the middle order earlier if he'd been available and we've been looking for an opener for a fair while now
Does Burns get another few tests to try and nail the spot down or do they take a punt on Pucovski?
Green is having a great run with the bat and, if he can stay fit, has a real claim to be a genuine allrounder at first class level at least. Which means worst case at test level he's capable of bowling 10 solid overs a day to give the main bowlers a break - or bowl first change if we're playing 2 spinners.
Does he get a run now?
Swepson's taken 20 wickets @ 18 so far in the season with 3 consecutive 5 wicket hauls. Does he get a run as a second spinner in Sydney?
Renshaw isn't really in contention again yet but it's good to see him making a big score.

Tough one. The only thing I can think of that's definitely in Joe's favour
is his slip fielding. Atm I don't think we've got a decent slipper from 2nd out. Would have no complaints whichever of the two gets The Nod for T1. If
it is Joey, he'd have to score runs in that Test to play another.

Late Thought: If Joe does play T1 he should really enjoy it. Opening with
the incredibly boring Bryce Street must be a real enthusiasm killer.

Not until he's capable of bowling more than 4 over spells.
If he does become the genuine allrounder in the near future it's going to
    get interesting.

At last! An easy one. Of course he does.
The more challenging question is: Does he replace Zampa in the LOI XIs?
I'd say 'Yes'. He's a significantly better fielder & batter plus he turns
the ball both ways *and* more than Zampa.

Renshaw isn't really in contention again yet but it's good to see him
    making a big score.

    Certainly good for Qld.
Especially as we had a win against the Poos "stolen" from us in the last
round. Ok, so the main thief was our fielding, giving Abbott 4 lives, but
facts are an optional extra these days...

The dreaded Street is 19* off 60 as I rant. Pointless.
