What has happened to this group? Is there a replacement group somewhere
where you all are discussing cricket?
I have been stuck in Canada due to Covid for 7 months and have just
returned to Australia only to find this group is devoid of posts. It is
not as though there has been no cricket news around the globe.
So where do we all gather for "discussions?"

Things might pickup now that the Shield has started. Qld on top of the
table as I type. And The Boys have slipped right back into last seasons
form. Clean out the top order for nothing (7/141), then let the tail add
100+ (250ao). Sigh. Also being traditional are 'The Potentials' from the
West. All of their top 4 getting a start, but having a HS of 65. WA 5/260
with Lloyd Pope taking all 5 of 'em. (21/0/94/5). Hope he's done a few with
    his wrong'un.

Clearly they were stung by my criticism...

It got overrun by posts by somebody who genuinely seemed need psychiatric help a year or so back
which meant any actual cricket posts got lost

The main usenet group where discussion is still going on is uk.sport.cricket, most of what's in rec.sport.cricket is a crosspost (and normally not overly cricket related)

With the new season starting it's probably worth trying to get this group started again.
