    Saward does join dots that don't necessarily line up sometimes.

    Attributed to Masashi Yamamoto, the General Manager of HondarCOs Motor Sports Division:

    "In the end the decision was taken to shift our top engineers to the work on future power units rCo
    and unfortunately we were unable to continue with Formula 1 as a result of that.rCY So HondarCOs top
    boffins were working on F1 and have now departed because the knowledge that they gained from F1 is
    useful to Honda in its new strategy. That is interesting."

    I read that and didn't come to the same conclusion as Saward. I read that Honda had their top
    engineers working on F1 and now that they've salvaged the company's honour Honda want them back
    where the money / future of the company is. If my reading is right then the title Saward gave this
    piece is rather ironic.

    Some of his other conclusions bug me at times (he often massages the facts to fit his narrative
    IMO) which is why I don't often read his column.
