Its okay, but... you're trusting the heart of your network to a consumer-grade router that wasn't designed or endorsed to run it. Its why I never really got behind those OpenWrt and Tomato projects or tech guys wanting to make a router out of a Raspberri Pi. The hardware just isn't certified or cut out for it.
It might run fine for weeks, maybe months before it mysteriously needs reboot. That to me isn't normal. Routers should have years of uptime and not randomly flake out and thats what I found happens with these alternative-router-OS's.
Better to stick with Pfsense on commercial grade server hardware IMO.
