Hello All,
5 AM Friday morning, I was taken by ambulance to the emergency room with a flaming case of COVID-19. This new variant is particularly unpleasant with a 101+F fever, severe coughing, nausea, projective vomiting...the works. Thankfully I was precribed an antiviral along with a few supporting meds.
Today, after three feverish days, I was able to wake up, shower, and have a small meal. Then I noticed how I trashed my apartment while feverish.

Right now, I feel like I have a massive head cold with the coughing and
constant coingestion in my head.

It's going around our work place. Of course I was offered a promotion
(and accepted) for an office position right when this new variant hits. lol
Quite sure the guy I share an office with has covid, but he refuses to get
a test as he is afraid he won't be able to work. lol

Didn't plan on getting this again but when you're at a hospital a lot
with a compromised immune system, crap happens.

I haven't worked in an office since March 2020. I don't know how I
would handle going back full-time. Known clean work surfaces, better
coffee, and I have french doors to an outside deck in my office.
