Well.. it's not like you have to do that *every* day,...yet!:D

It seems that with me, this stuff always happens at night when I can't use any alternative to get to the VA except an ambulance.

Thankfully, the Uber driver was driving a GMC Yukon (a nice big confortable SUV that I could get in) and was a friendly fellow who liked to chat. I have been on some Uber rides scrunched in a small vehicle with drivers who could barely utter a sentence.

This driver gave me his business card so I couold contact him directly. He's given over 10K Uber rides and has the special LED sign in his front window that Uber gives their best drivers.

If I'm stuck at night again at the ER, I'll be sure to call this guy again.

A taxi ride of the same length here is USD$26 one-way for 5 miles.
