I disabled both audio and vibration notifications on calls, emails and now texting. I'm actually one step away from turning off ALL notifications.

Some moron I have to work with for a customer of mine is using Imesage on a Mac, so what he does is type one sentence, presses enter, another sentence, presses enter etc. over and over. This shows up as individual texts on my Iphone thus it just gets "stupid" with the noise and buzzing.

I always preferred the WAV file of Homer Simpson saying "The mail! The
mail is here! Oooooo." :D

Used that at work for a while, but it got to be too much once everyone got email (and learned how to send it!).
