• OpenXP 5.0.57 released

From Martin Foster@2:310/31.3 to All on Fri Dec 30 08:43:00 2022
    Greetings All!

OpenXP 5.0.57 has been released and is available for download from the following URLs .....

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/openxp5/

    https://openxp.uk/

Also available shortly on the POINTSOFT FDN, file area = OPENXP

OpenXP is a fully integrated FidoNet Point system, email client and
newsgroup client for the Windows/Linux console.

    OpenXP5.0.57-win.zip - Win32 version.

    openxp-5.0.57-1.x86_64-lnx.zip - Linux 64-Bit version.

I think that this would be an appropriate moment to let everyone know that I'm no longer taking an active part in the development of OpenXP. This
does not mean to say that I've abandoned OpenXP altogether, far from it. I shall continue to support OpenXP but at a more leisurely pace.

    Regards,
    Martin

    Hello Martin,

OpenXP 5.0.57 has been released and is available for download from the following URLs .....

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/openxp5/

    https://openxp.uk/

I just grabbed those and am getting ready to send them out, they'll be on their way out the door in the next hour or so.

I only saw archives for windows and linux64, no source archive.

If there is a source archive I'll need a link to grab it.

That's only needed if the developers want the source archive sent out, let me know if so.

BTW, Happy New Year to you and points and nodes eveywhere!

    OK, thanks for that.

    Yes, that's correct.

Nope, no source packages this time.

I always packed up the source packages but as I'm no longer an active member of the project, it's entirely a matter for the developer as to what he does. The source is always available in the project repository on SourceForge, either by svn or direct download.

Many thanks and the same to you and everyone else :-)

    Regards,
    Martin

If there is or ever is a source package provided by the developers I'm happy to send it out. I can be contacted by netmail or email agianson {at} gmail {dot} com.

It's enough (I think) that the source is available at sourceforge but I am happy to send out a source package if there is one.
