    Hey,
Got things under control with syncterm using wine.
Gotta get the linux version on linux

Seems a bit slow to react, but that is what you get from emulation.
Since this is a test a responce would be nice.
It will take time but I will get there.
an't get it to work perfectly, perhaps front door has a linux
interface.Truth is I am very close to gettingXP to go.

It gets stuck a the language promt and wont take E as the language and d
does not work either when install openxp in a wine setting.

I did this recently. Grab syncterm-1.1-src.tgz from http://sourceforge.net/projects/syncterm

Unpack that archive keeping directories intact.

Go into that directory and cd src/syncterm

run make "RELEASE=1" and if that is successful "sudo make RELEASE=1 install".

You'll need gcc and friends installed for that to work. The build-essential meta package will do that on debian derivitives.

Syncterm runs well here on the console and desktop nicely.

Yes, it is a step by step process.

Not that I know of. Binkd runs nicely on linux. If your tosser can use a BSO outbound, that is what I would use. It's not as pretty as FD but it works well.

Truth is I am very close to gettingXP to go.

I hope you get that running well.
