    VERSION 4 - AUGUST 8 2022
    -------------------------

    - Fix for rare but potential hanging/freezing in outbound Echomail scanning
when a large amount of mail was just unpacked into a newly-added area.

    - Fix for rare "not counting" problem when the system state changes to
    Qscan/QCheck.

    - More thorough README file for newcomers.

    What are "IPv6 extensions"?

    I use 1.a-113 and I've had IPv6-connects for years.

It means that the 1.a-115 update to BinkD included with D'Bridge has in fact, the IPV6 extensions compiled.

Do you mean the -64 and -46? Because that was there all the time already, it just wasn't documented yet from what I understand.

You are aware I've been running IPv6 for quite a while, right? Are have I never mentioned that in the affirmative?

    VERSION 4 - SEPTEMBER 8 2022
    ----------------------------

This minor release addresses issues with the BinkD subsystem.

    - Significant code improvements for BinkD staging or "move" operations,
uncompressed mail packets for busy Hub systems or systems that forward
    mail to many downlinks.

    - Fix for an unusual problem with a downlink receiving a large compressed
mail archive via BinkD, the file transfer gets aborted somehow, then the
downlink immediately connects again and didn't receive that archive BUT
received all of that archive's PKT files, so a leftover incomplete mail
archive transfer remained on his system.

    - Compressed mail (XMAIL/Arcmail) flagged as Hold or Forced Hold will not
be sent to the destination system in an outbound BinkD transaction.

    - Improvements to packet logging.

    VERSION 4 - DECEMBER 29 2022
    ----------------------------

This release was intended to have BinkD file-request/SRIF support but that
    will wait till later.

    - Bug fix for a long standing problem with a dialup modem not being placed
off-line (off hook) when tossing mail... depending on the Offhook setting
    in Config-COMM/Modem.

    - Bug fix for "Save junk messages".

    - Bug fix for rare zero-byte/null *.MSG files in the NETmail area.

    - Bug fix for zero-byte/null message reporting in the system log.

    - Bug fix for rare stack/data-related problems.

    - If D'Bridge starts up and determines it was shutdown abnormally/
incorrectly, it will execute the batch file ABNORMAL.BAT if one exists.
For example you could use that batch file to send yourself an email or
cleanup any leftovers in BBS software.

    - A new semaphore/dummy file can be created, DBRIDGE.SBS (Stop processing
By Semaphore). If this file exists, D'Bridge will NOT process inbound
mail or scan any outgoing mail. When this file vanishes, processing will
resume normally. This could be useful for some Windows backup programs
which may fail if there is too much disk I/O caused by mail processing.

WARNING: Use this with caution; and any operating-system startup scripts
or batch files should do an IF EXIST \DB\DBRIDGE.SBS DEL
\DB\DBRIDGE.SBS to ensure the file is not "stuck" causing mail
    not to be processed.

    - Several updates to the F1 Help system and user manual.

    VERSION 4 - APRIL 10 2023
    -------------------------

    A minor release:

    - Adds an option to Config-Echomail Areas to specify if an Echomail area is
to be "hidden" from the internal message editor.

If you answer YES to this new question, the Echomail area will NOT appear
when you press A for Areas or ESC-Areas Information.

Note that this does not hide the area from Areafix requests, but obviously
the area will not be presented in Areafix requests from systems that do
not meet the security and group criteria specified in Config-Packet/Mail.

    - Also adds the command HIDDEN ON/OFF to the DBUTIL CHANGE command, ie:

C:\DB> DBUTIL CHANGE SECURITY 50 HIDDEN ON

Will change all Echomail areas matching security level 50 to be
hidden from the internal message editor.

C:\DB> DBUTIL CHANGE GROUPACCESS C HIDDEN OFF

Will change all Echomail areas matching group access C to not be
    hidden.

C:\DB> DBUTIL CHANGE HIDDEN ON HIDDEN OFF

You guessed it... All Echomail areas hidden will now be shown.

    - Bug fix for importing and exporting Local areas.

    - Bug fix when editing Local areas.

    - Bug fix for the F1-Help system.
