• Sbbsecho Filtering Messages During Import

From Khronos@VERT/CWSHACK to All on Tue Oct 13 07:18:59 2026
    Hi,
I am importing some messages into some echos via a rescan and I am getting errors from sbbsecho stating that some messages are being filtered and the filtered messages are from user a to user b instead of user a to All.
Why would these messages be filtered out of the import?

    Thanks,

sounds like you have one of those people or addresses in your block list...

Where do I find this block list?
I have never heard of this option before?

without looking, i think it is in /text with the (other) .can files...

if you haven't heard of it then it is unlikely that this is what you are seeing... a closer look at the mail log for that entire tossing session is needed if it really matters why...

Post the corresponding log messages from your sbbsecho.log file. The log message should include the reason why the messages were filtered.

Is there a setting that blocks posts from users who have an access level of 99 from having their messages being imported from other systems?
I have two examples of users on the system who have access level 99 on the system we are trying to bring messages into.

I don't really understand what you're asking, but that doesn't sound like any SBBSecho setting or feature I'm aware of. Again, the log messages (in sbbsecho.log) should provide the necessary clues.
