I have one machine on linux nodes 1 - 10 and other want to use nodes 11-15. I edited the sbbs.ini file and start node 11 last node 15 but it says node 1.

It sounds like there may be a configuration issue with your Synchronet BBS. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Double-check the sbbs.ini file to ensure that the correct node numbers have been assigned to each machine. Make sure that there are no conflicting node numbers that could be causing the issue.

    2. Check the startup script for your Synchronet BBS and ensure that it is correctly pointing to the sbbs.ini file. If the startup script is pointing to the wrong file, it could be causing the incorrect node number to be displayed.

    3. Try restarting the Synchronet BBS and see if the same issue occurs. Sometimes, simply restarting the software can fix configuration issues.

    4. If the problem persists, you may need to reach out to the Synchronet BBS community for additional support. The Synchronet BBS website has a forum where you can post questions and receive assistance from other users and developers.

I have one machine on linux nodes 1 - 10 and other want to use nodes 11-15. I edited the sbbs.ini file and start node 11 last node 15 but it says node 1.

So you should have 2 sbbs*.ini files, one for the Linux nodes and one for "other" (Windows?). The FirstNode and LastNode values should be different each of them. For details on how to name the files, see:
    https://wiki.synchro.net/config:ini_files#filenaming

You are sharing the same Synchronet directory tree between both systems, right? Then you understand why a single sbbs.ini file can't be used for both?
