When I was running GT Power under dial-up 30 years ago, a fellow Sysop and ham radio operator had logged on. We were in chat, and I decided to play a joke on him.
He stepped away from the console for a few minutes, and I typed in NO CARRIER -- to make it look like we had gotten disconnected. Shortly thereafter, he disconnected!!

print correctly so I picked up a cheap fax machine and used

i actually had to fax a pinhead last week because they were ignoring
my emails. i used an online site and sent 5 screenshots of my
email. that got their attention.
