Back in the 1950's grocery stores in the summertime didn't have air conditioning, just one or two cans in the store.
The liquid didn't get cool enuf to gel.

    Ahh, that'd explain it!

I would slurp the gel down if that was in the can when I opened it.
Vienna Sausage juice and Mushroom juice both have a salty taste that I lik

There are things that I like that are salty but I cannot think of any "drinks" I like that are. ;)

I used to gross my sister out by eating those sausages and slurping down the jelly juice.

LOL, I had a sister that ate too much summer sausage once and got real sick. After that, eating just about any sausages around her would gross her
out... no jelly juice slurping required! :D

i bought some stuff in a dairy's giftshop. it's called thuringer. it was real fresh and awesome. i ate a big bag of thin slices and i was full the entire day. until that day my only experience with it is processed crap in
    the grocery store.

yeah. my mom was a mushroom lover. cooked mushrooms do not have flavor me. or they taste nasty
i dont know why someoen would want to eat mushrooms.

I like them cooked with my steak. I am thinking of getting one of those blackstone grills to replace my dead grill...

My grandparents would hunt sorel mushnoons in the woods and bread and salt and pepper them for a delicious fried feast. YUM!

I looked it up as I had not heard of one but couldn't find it, so your

Just be sure you're packin enough caliber. I wouldn't try it with
anything less than an "ought-six" myself, and have a sidearm strapped to
    yer belt to finish 'em.
