Before an election is the worst time to be buying, however if it goes to Biden it will get worse.

Folks,
It's getting to be that time where I am considering a build for an ar.
For yall's firearms advocates, can you point to a decent online portal that I can order parts? I live in California and recently we had our rights restored to owning 30-round mags in the district court.

Palmetto State Armory ... They are in expensive... and they have a presents on Youtube... Lots of feedback from people testing them out.
If I were looking for one that's where I'd go.

Anyways, Aero Precision is one of my favorites to get lower reeivers
from. Palmetto State Armory and Primary Arms have also been reliable sources. Brownells sells several brand of lowers and parts as well.
Before you order, find a dealer near you and find out how much they
charge for FFL transfers. Since you mention building, the lower
receiver is all you need to order through the FFL. The rest of the
parts can be purchased without filling out a form 4473.
Any idea in terms of what you want, or plan to do with this rifle?
That would help in selecting in furniture, barrel, and hand guard. My first build was a bull barrel varmint build, then I realized it was a
bit too specialized and heavy to lug around unless I was carrying it
from the car to a bench. The next version had a LaRue Stealth barrel
and was much lighter.

Thank you.
I'm not going to get a full lower.

I'm not going to get a full lower.
Any ideas on what you plan to build up? A great trigger for the money
is the LaRue MBT-2. Their ultimate upper kit has everything you need
but the low er if you want something that's precise and well made.
Nothign yet. Just something I'm contemplating. My area is pretty
unscathed from these stupid kid extremists busting shit up. I may wait until some critical 2a cases hit appeals court. We'll know on Monday if
we get full sized mags in california.

I didn't know this was in the pipeline; I'll try to watch news for info about this, but hope you post what happened too... my kids live in California, and is always a spot on my radar as I may live there again
in the near future...
Hope it passes.
